Welcome to the website of Holy Innocents' Church, Fallowfield, an Anglican church 2.5 miles south of Manchester city centre. We welcome worshippers, enquirers and visitors from this locality and from all over the world. Although part of the Church of England, we are pleased to offer hospitality to members of other traditions.
Our worship is catholic in style, with structured liturgy, periods of silence for personal reflection and preaching. The Eucharist - Mass or Holy Communion - is the centre of our common life, and through this sacrament we give thanks to God for the generous outpouring of his love for us and receive from him the body and blood of his Son - the bread of life and the cup of everlasting salvation. At Holy Innocents' we aim to respond to God's unconditional love for us through our worship, our collective and individual commitment to God, and by trying to work out the implications of his love in our relationships with one another and how we engage with the wider world. We hope you find this website helpful and that you will be able to join us at Holy Innocents to share our worship or common life.
